  The Kahuna Arete has 3 distinct levels of zero gravity position that also include  segmental control of footrest and backrest.  Zero gravity was originally developed by NASA engineers to remove all of the pressure from our astronaut's spines as they launched into space. By lifting the legs to heart level while reclining the back, all pressure is removed from the spine. Chiropractors believe that this is the "healthiest way to sit."
